One little trick: If you have a bunch of flies and some go into the trap, they might all be floating in the middle tube where the liquid is above the level of the bottom of that tube. This means more flies can't get in there. Carefully swirl the liquid like you would a fine liquor/wine - don't splash any. This will give room for the flies to drop down and open up space for more of the little things to get trapped while trying to get a drink of the deadly juice.

It doesn't look like a fly trap of any kind so it doesn't make the area where you put it look nasty. It seems like it just sucks them right in there. They last a long time. If necessary you can dump out the old liquid and put in more vinegar or wine to lure them in. Great product.
